Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm – Saturday & Sunday – 9am to 5pm
Last entry every day at 4.30pm
August Bank Holiday 9am-4.30pm
Winter Opening Hours
Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm – Saturday & Sunday – 9am to 4pm
Last entry every day at 3.30pm
Weekends
Pedestrian access only at weekends. The toilets are not available.
Christmas Day & Boxing Day – 9am to 3.30pm

Note: The cemetery office can occasionally be closed during these times due to operational activities
Please note: The office is closed on Bank Holidays and Summer months closing times can vary.
The Summer Opening Hours are in effect from early April to late October during UK British Summer Time. The Winter Opening Hours are for the rest of the year when the UK has Greenwich Mean Time.

St Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Langthorne Road, Leytonstone.
St Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery has been the final resting place of thousands of Catholic adults and children for over 150 years. The Cemetery is maintained by the grounds staff and has burials and ashes interments occurring on an almost daily basis. The Cemetery Chapel has many funerals and memorial services.

Monday 9th November 2026 - 11.30am-1.00pm
New graves are available in our Cemetery or it is possible to re-open a family grave elsewhere in the Cemetery for burial or ashes interment. For more information on any of these please contact the Cemetery Office.
St Patrick’s Cemetery, Leytonstone and St Mary’s Cemetery, Kensal Green are the only two cemeteries in London which are completely Catholic. Both cemeteries are subsidiaries of the Secular Clergy Common Fund.
Many other cemeteries in London have Catholic sections but only these two are exclusively Catholic. There are other exclusively Catholic Cemeteries just outside the boundary of London who may dispute this claim; it depends on where you take as the official boundary of London.
